Weddings in Marbella?

They say planning a wedding is the second most stressful thing in life to moving house, so if you aren’t sure where to begin or have certain worries before you’ve even thought about a date, then I can help. From the big things to the little, White Wedding Days will advise, assist, comfort and support you through every step. We will provide our experience of organising civil weddings/partnerships in elaborate stately homes to religious ceremonies in intimate churches.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be in Spain for any period of time before the wedding?

No. We would recommend that you arrive a few days beforehand though so you can relax and get some sun before the wedding day arrives.

Will you and your team be there on the day of the wedding?

Yes absolutely. We take care of all the details on the day so you don’t need to worry about a thing.

I'm not Catholic, can we still have a legal ceremony in Spain?

Unfortunately no, but you can have a religious (or non-religious) blessing which is tailored to sound exactly like a legal ceremony. You only need to take care of the legal part in your home country or in Gibraltar.

Can we get married in Gibraltar and have our Wedding Reception in Spain?

Certainly, many couples choose to get married in Gibraltar then celebrate their wedding reception in one of the many venues available in Spain. There are several locations to choose from including Sotogrande, Marbella and Mijas.

What is the best time of year to get married in Southern Spain?

Most of our weddings take place in May, June, July, September and October as August tends to be very, very hot.

What do the groom and groomsmen normally wear for a wedding in Spain?

It is absolutely a personal choice for the men in question… During the hotter months of July and August we wouldn’t recommend a suit jacket but perhaps a waistcoat instead which can be removed after photos have been taken. For those wanting something more relaxed then many choose an open necked shirt and linen trousers.

How long does it take to plan a wedding in Spain?

Ideally, if you are looking to be married in the peak season, you want to start looking at venues about a year before your chosen date as many locations can get booked up in advance very quickly.
